Provides physical therapy services to all patients requiring such services under the direct order of a physician, nurse practitioner or dentist. Operates independently under the supervision of the manager of the Occupational Health Department. The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assignment unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status. He/she must interpret the information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his/her age specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in the unit’s departmental policies and procedures. Basic Education Bachelor’s Degree, AZ State Licensure Basic Experience 6 months Basic Field-of-Expertise (if applicable) Bachelor Degree in physical therapy from an accredited university approved by the APTA
